Bengaluru: The female victim who experienced sexual molestation from a man on his motorcycle at Bengaluru’s busy IT park explained that society still lacks sufficient boundary respect.
The woman shared her story on NDTV Friday to guarantee people from every group would speak out against such offenses which should prevent criminals from escaping punishment.
While walking through Ecoworld in Marathahalli in Bengaluru at 11.30 pm on Wednesday the survivor received a hard blow to her back.
“I was perplexed. The strange series of hits on my back prompted me to think someone was using a vehicle dangerously. The attack occurred twice with increasing force behind it. She became certain this was intentional assault.
The woman attempted to scream for assistance yet the area remained totally indifferent to her pleas.
“The third time… At that moment I watched the man drive backwards to approach me. I yelled for assistance because the area remained full of people even at that time even though it normally stays busy all day long. According to her those circumstances remain the biggest shock since nobody responded to her appeals for assistance after she stopped various drivers and residents to help her.
‘More Alert’: Bengaluru
She chose to explain her experience because fighting this stigma exists for victims of violent crimes in her situation.

She immediately proceeded to the Ecoworld security booth to find assistance when the assault occurred. The woman contacted authorities on Thursday while the deputy commissioner of police together with an assistant commissioner of police conducted a personal investigation.
“The investigation is on. I pray that authorities will apprehend the man involved. She revealed that the same thing occurred to her while explaining that a free pass for the offender could let him harm additional individuals.
The victim responds to feeling unsafe that she remains watchful while simultaneously knowing effective actions to handle similar incidents.
‘Need For Change’
The woman emphasized that finding a single person to blame for such crimes is not enough because people need to take individual responsibility to create societal evolution.
When my son becomes a tomorrow father I already know the important life lessons I will convey to him. A generalized social teaching allows numerous unchecked male conduct to pass unnoticed throughout the population.
Women who present themselves as feminist have begun to accept many behaviors without punishment. She explained that people need to understand both laws and their importance while respecting them and added that education should start teaching these matters to students in schools.
This incident took place where numerous surveillance cameras together with security personnel patrolled the area. She found it most astounding because it proves that security systems and boundaries cannot eliminate human gaps in social behavior or relationship respect.
Not A Victim
She declared that she along with other women who have endured such incidents do not view themselves as victims.
“The person who did this is the victim. Imagine how messed up he would have to be to derive a sense of control by violating someone’s boundaries to this extent. So my message to other women is: Don’t victimise yourself… You don’t need to hide behind the curtains… The person who is doing this is the one doing something wrong,” she said.
