Hearing held in Supreme Court today regarding air pollution in Delhi NCR.
During the court hearing on air pollution in Delhi NCR, Justice Oka raised serious questions from the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM).
It has been said in the court that the Commission for Air Quality Management has not yet complied with even a single provision of the Act. The court has said that this authority has not complied.
The court also raised questions from the Commission for Air Quality Management on some issues like The court asked whether committees have been formed under Article 11 ? how many meetings took place ? what steps were taken?
After these questions, the court asked the lawyer of the Commission for Air Quality Management that all steps are being taken in control of pollution . Supreme Court said how can you take any step without forming a committee? Show us any one order issued by the Commission in exercise of its powers. It’s all up in the air so how will he deal with all this.
where is the meeting? What notices have been issued? The Supreme Court further said that we are not interested in your paper. Show us even one such directive that has been issued by you (commission for Air quality management).
Commission for Air quality management have arguments
Commission for pollution management Giving his answer said that we have formed committees And after the formation of the committee, 82 statutory instructions and 15 advisories were also issued. The court said that we are on the verge of a dangerous and big development. The court further asked what steps were taken by the committees for security and enforcement ?
The chair of the Commission for Air Quality Management replied that our committee has conducted 19,000 inspections so far. He further said that we have issued orders to close more than 10,000 units. On this the Supreme Court asked what happened to this problem which we face every day ?

When the stubble is burnt then along with it many bacteria found in the soil which are very much needed for crop and soil also get destroyed and there is a time when the soil becomes barren and Nothing can be used for it.
All farmers should keep these things in mind that if they burn the system, it will harm their fields and will also increase air pollution. Nowadays, many types of machines have come which remove the stubble along with the roots, so farmers should choose them. Burn as little stubble as possible and keep the fields as well as the environment good.
