The fifth edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards was conducted last night in Mumbai. The night was star studded, as the Bollywood A list celebrities appeared dressed in their best for the festive occasion definitely bringing in a lot of glitz and glamour to the event. It’s preview of nominations in 39 categories were revealed before the event kicked off.

The Diamond Bazaar swept the nominations in 16 categories while Guns & Gulaabs were second with 12 nominations and Kaala Paani had 8 nominations. festive finery, adding high dose of glitz and glamour to the event. Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar bagged the highest number of nominations in 16 categories, followed by Guns & Gulaabs with 12 and Kaala Paani with 8 nominations.

All five web series, Kota Factory Season 3, Made in Heaven Season 2, Mumbai Diaries Season 2, Scam 1992, and Paatal Lok received seven nominations each. The award ‘Best Film’ (Web Original) was received by Imtiaz Ali for Amar Singh Chamkila. For this wonderful movie, Diljit Dosanjh was awarded the trophy of Best Actor, Web Original Film (Male). Kareena Kapoor has been awarded the Best Actor, Web Original Film (Female) for Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan. To the event, Kareena ensured that she put on a saree quipped with bling. She also took a picture with the black lady and captioned it “The black lady always gives you that dizzy feeling… till today.”

Manisha Koirala won in the Best Actor Series (Female): Drama category for her role in Heermandi: The Diamond Bazaar while Gagan Dev Riar won the Best Actor, Series (Male): Drama Award. Rajkummar Rao took home the Best Actor Series (Male): Comedy Award and Geetanjali Kulkarni bagged the Best Actor, Series (Female): Comedy Award for Guns & Gulaabs and Gullak Season 4 respectively.
