Ammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted on X that he had heard explosion all over Srinagar.
Soon afterwards, many residents uploaded to X photos and videos purportedly showing anti-aircraft gunfire intercepting drones in the sky at night.

A little while after India and Pakistan announced the ceasefire, Mr Abdullah tweeted about something extraordinary. United State of America President Donald Trump had earlier on said that, there had been a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
“How did the ceasefire just get broken like this?” Blasts were heard in Srinagar,” reported Mr Abdullah on X.
He also posted an additional message this time with a video: “This is no ceasefire. In Amritsar, DC said there are reports of ceasefire violations and they will enforce a blackout if and when needed.
The district commissioner of Ludhiana reported that there is no reason for panic at this time. They may, at any time, have to declare a blackout and the armed forces in collaboration with the district administration are monitoring the situation very keenly.
The district commissioner in Patiala stated that warnings will be issued early if there is an imminent threat although he reassures the public that there is no need to be nervous at the moment.
In Amritsar the district commissioner maintained that there are reports of ceasefire breaches and that a blackout can be applied as needed.
“… In case of necessity, I hope that you will have blackout readiness in mind… Stay indoors or at home… There has been a number of drills in the past, so keep calm. This is a preventive measure,” the Amritsar DC notified the public.
Gunfire was also reported to have been heard in Baramulla.
Further, there was an explosion reported at Sopore.
Jaisalmer has fully lost its power supply, in several districts in Rajasthan and Punjab. A total power interruption has been implemented in Moga, Punjab.
Gray spoke of seeing drones in Amritsar:
“The there have been ceasefire violations from both the sides of Line of Control and reports of drones flying over Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan,” a senior government official said.

From reporters in Srinagar, locals informed that homes in Sonawar area were damaged. Adverse effects of bomb explosions continue in the Badami Bagh Cantonment next to Sonawar amid the explosion.

In a Saturday statement, Pakistani military officials said they had conducted a co-ordinated attack, hitting multiple Indian targets before striking a missile storage site in north India. The attack was named as operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos; “wall of lead” is the Arabic term for the same.
