The Reliance Foundation’s chairperson and founder, Nita Ambani, spoke at the DAIS (Dhirubhai Ambani International School) and NMAJS (Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School) annual day and extended her thanks to all support staff members for running the school. She was grateful to them for being “the pillars of our school.”
“I would like to thank and congratulate the pillars of our school – our heads, teachers, staff and all our bus didis, lift bhaiyas, housekeeping didis and bhaiyas, canteen staff, nurse and security teams who are always there with a smile, welcoming and looking after our children,” said Nita Ambani.
Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, was present during the occasion and was praised by Nita Ambani.
The founder and chairperson of DAIS, Nita Ambani, addressed the function before the annual play in which she appreciatedher husband Mukesh Ambani for attending each annual day since the inception of the school in spite of his work engagements.
“That adds up to 37 birthday celebrations and 20 graduation ceremonies so far,” said Nita Ambani, appreciating Mukesh Ambani.
Her speech received a massive round of applause from the star-studded audience that included Bollywood celebrities, businessmen and some of the other high-profile names whose children study in the DAIS and NMAJS.

The audience included Bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Aishwarya Rai, and Abhishek Bachchan, among many others.
Recently, on the sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital Anniversary, Nita Ambani announced a new Health Seva Plan under Reliance Foundation initiative to screen and treat children, adolescent girls, and women.
“The hospital has announced that the Health Seva plan will celebrate its 10th anniversary in the provision of health care for children, promising free screening and treatment to 50,000 children afflicted with congenital heart disease, free screening and treatment to 50,000 women suffering from breast cancer and cancer, and cervical cancer vaccination for 10,000 adolescent girls,” Reliance Industries announced in a press release in October 2024.
Nita Ambani Shouts Out to Housekeeping
Nita Ambani’s speech at the annual day celebrations of the Dhirubhai Ambani International School and Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (NMAJS) included a very special shout-out to the support staff that makes smooth functioning possible within the schools.
Whom am I? Besides school teachers, she recognized the house keeping “didis and bhaiyas”, Bus didis, Security Staff, Medical Staff, Canteen Employees and other members who make the entire school operational.
“I would like to thank and congratulate the pillars of our school – our heads, teachers, staff and all our bus didis, lift bhaiyas, housekeeping didis and bhaiyas, canteen staff, nurse and security teams who are always there with a smile, welcoming and looking after our children,” said the Reliance Foundation chairperson.
Her speech was followed by hearty applause from an audience that comprised the finest Bollywood celebrities, business tycoons, and all those high profile people whose children study in both these schools. Some of these celebrities who had turned up for the function included Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Aishwarya Rai, among numerous others.
Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani also sat in the audience and received a special thank you from his wife onstage, who noted that he had never missed an annual day or graduation ceremony. “That means 37 annual days and 20 graduation ceremonies till date,” Nita Ambani explained, drawing applause from the audience.
