Bengaluru Vlogger Murder: Assam girl and vlogger Maya Gogoi was murdered at a service apartment in Bengaluru, the police detained the main accused Aarav on Friday. But as the DCP East claimed, the police arrested him outside Karnataka.
Maya Gogoi, known as an independent video blogger from Assam was presumably murdered by her boyfriend Aarav Hanoy. According to police, the allegation, he continued living in the service apartment in Indiranagar with her dead body for two days, relaxing and smoking cigarettes in front of the lifeless. The murder was however established on Tuesday when police from the Indiranagar station received a tip off.
Bengaluru Vlogger Murder Case (Maya Gogoi)
The accused as per police, Aarav Hanoy, had booked the service apartment with Maya on Saturday late November 23. It is believed that Maya was killed probably around midnight, Sunday night. The gruesome fact that has came out is that Hanoy lived with her body for two days, smoking and sitting beside her.
Maya, who resided with her sister in HSR layout Bengaluru, had informed her sister that she was going to attend an office party on Friday. The next day, she said she will be out partying that night too, through a text message.
Aarav Hanoy Relationship with Maya Gogoi
Police think that Maya had been dating Aarav for the last six months after they started communicating over the internet. Police investigations showed that when Hanoy go to the service apartment he had a knife with him and had ordered for a nylon rope on the internet pointing towards pre-meditation of the murder.
Aarav Hanoy left the service apartment after committing the murder and hailed a taxi to the Majestic area of the central business district of Bengaluru. There, he turned off his cell phone so that the police force could not easily trace him or follow his movements.
