Telugu actor Allu Arjun, who has been winning accolades for his performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule, has it also come out to record a video statement in the wake of the tragic death of a 28-year-old woman at the premiere of his film on December 4.

Allu Arjun in a video statement on his X account mourned the loss of a mother at the premiere of his movie Pushpa 2 : The Rule.
He appears in a 3 minute 47 second long video where he speaks in Telugu to mourn the young woman. “Gut wrenchingly shocked at the sad event that unfolded at Sandhya Theatre. I pray for the family and may the lord comfort you in these trying and sad moment.
This is wished to inform them that they are not alone in this painful situation and will attend the funeral service of the family member personally. In as much as I understand their desire to be on their own to mourn, let me assure you, am here and ready to support, encourage, guide and help you through each and every stage we are bound to encounter.”

Later in the video you can see Allu Arjun claiming that such a large crowd was ‘unanticipated’ when he went to the theatre and revealed that he got information about the fan’s demise the following day.
He said, “When we went to the premieres of Pushpa recently at RTC Crossroads, we did not anticipate that there would be so much crowd,” The next morning we learnt that there was a family held in the stampede, two children by a woman named Revathi, had lost their lives sadly.”
Allu Arjun also added that even Sukumar and the entire Pushpa team was quite ‘taken aback’ when they learned of the incident.

From every movie theater for nearly every movie every year for the last 20 years, something like this has never happened. Everyone of us was very disappointed and shocked, no one wants to celebrate right now. It is just difficult for us to grasp that, we make films so when people go to theatres to watch the movie, then you hear such a thing happened…can’t even explain it.”
He also revealed that hearing the news he thought about donating RS 25 lakh for the family of the deceased woman who lost her life in the tragedy.
He has also pledged to pay not only their medical bills but also the children’s need in the near future.

It then becomes impossible to do anything to help the situation; it is impossible to fix the loss, no matter what is said. But from our side we can only be pronounced emotionally for you no matter what you might need. From my side, I would like to contribute ₹25 lakh and to do that just to ensure you know I am with you especially for the children. We will also pay all the medical bills; we know how it is tough for the family.”
And before the long video came to an end, Allu Arjun who looked quite sad also urged his fans to be careful.
It seems our aim is to produce movies which people can watch along with their families. This is why when something like this happens, even we feel bad for being part of the system. Please take care and get back home safely in case they go to theatres,” he posted to fans.
The eight-year-old boy, who suffocated and fell unconscious as crowds jostled at a theatre during the premiere show of actor Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, still stays in very serious condition the doctors treating him at the hospital said on Friday.
A 35 year old boy’s mother died of asphyxiation in the accident which occurred on Wednesday night when a huge crowd gathered in Sandhya theatre here to get a look at the actor.
Anand customized that the case has been filed by Chikkadpally police against Allu Arjun, his security team and the theatre management under sections 105 and 118(1) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and states the escrows of the death family.

When informed Akshansh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (central zone) said to PTI that the police are gathering more evidence concerning the case. At the same time, a press conference by the team of Pushpa 2 today has been called off without any specific cause.
