Top 10 countries with the fastest internet: The number of people who have been actively using the internet reaches 5.52 billion by the close of October 2024, having had an increase of about 151 million users from the previous year.

By the end of last year, 58% of the population in the world was using mobile internet, which equals 4.7 billion users: GSMA reported.
