This 40-year-old man from Hyogo Prefecture in western Japan said he had been training his body and mind to perform like a normal person with nearly no sleep and added that this has boosted his productivity.

The South China Morning Post reported that Mr Daisuke Hori said, “If one exercises or drinks coffee before eating, say one hour before a meal, one need not worry of falling asleep for that meal.”

In the show, Hori only had only 26 minutes of sleep, she woke up refreshed, took breakfast, went to work, and even exercised.
This reality show for instance showed how Hori got only 26 minutes of sleep at night, woke up feeling so fresh and even proceeded to hit the gym.
“Those who need focus at work including doctors and firefighters are more benefited with quality sleep as compared to long sleep.” Hori said to the outlet.
On his online resume, Hori boasts of having trained more than 2,100 students to become ultra-short sleepers and one of the trainees, according to Yomiuri TV, said that she cut down her sleeping time from 8 hours to 13 minutes after being trained by Hori.
