Sean Combs AKA “Diddy” was arrested by Federal Agents in New York on Tuesday,16th September 2024.
The news was confirmed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York City.
Sean Combs aka “Diddy” was accused of sexual assault lawsuits and a federal human trafficking probe in the last year said by the producer’s attorney.
Sean Combs was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan on Monday night by Homeland Security Investigations and he was taken into custody.
The Charges and details against Sean Combs is still Unclear
According to Damian Williams, A US attorney for the Southern District of New York said, this arrest was made based on an indictment which is going to unsealed on Tuesday Morning.
The lead investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security, HSI is responsible for investigating crime and threats which are transitional including human trafficking,drug smuggling,terrorism and other criminal activities.
Sean Combs aka “Diddy” was in New York since last week. His attorney said, Negotiations for his surrender had been ongoing and a grand jury voted to indict Monday.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the US Attorney’s Office,” , an attorney for Sean Combs, Marc Agnifilo told CNN.
The attorney also said that Sean Combs the musician was cooperating in the investigation that led to the indictment and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. The attorney also said his team maintains his innocence and says he has nothing to hide.

He adores his children and he’s working to uplift the black community. He is an imperfect person but not a criminal said by the attorney of “diddy” Marc Agnifilo.
Marc agnifilo also asked people, “please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Earlier this year, Sean Combs was being targeted in a months-long sex trafficking probe by the HSI (Homeland Security Investigations) agency, for deeper investigation they also searched the homes of the musician which is situated in Los Angeles and Miami in March.

Sean combs aka “diddy” was accused of sexual assault and misconduct since November, when his ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura sued him in federal court for physical and sexual abuse.
Cassandra Ventura who is popular for her stage name Cassie. She once signed to Sean Combs’ Bad Boy record label. But the two settled her lawsuit after the day it was filed without disclosing their settlement terms. But an attorney for Diddy said the settlement was not an acknowledgement of wrongdoing.
Since then there are other people who sued Sean Combs aka “Diddy” including Dawn Richard, who alleged that when she was working for him from 2005 to 2012 Sean Combs groped and threatened her, she also said that she witnessed him brutally beat Cassandra Ventura. But Sean Combs Denied these accusations in the lawsuits saying that these were “sickening allegations” from the people who are looking for “a quick payday”.

But in May month, when CNN disclosed a hotel video of Sean Combs punching , Kicking and throwing Cassandra Ventura on the floor in the hallway of Los Angeles in 2016, then he apologized for his behavior saying that this was “inexcusable” and he sought therapy after that. But later, the video was removed from Sean’s page.
Dawn Richard Accused him for Sexual Assault
Former Diddy – Dirty money member who was formed by Sean Combs for the MTV reality competition “Making the Band,” & Danity Kane member Richard also sued Sean Combs last week.
But the attorney said Sean Combs was shocked and disappointed by Richard’s lawsuit which was like Cassandra Ventura’s complaint that depicts him as controlling and violent.
In Ventura’s Lawsuit she accused him of sex trafficking by saying that Sean used to beat her frequently and he also forced her to engage in sex acts with male prostitutes. But drug- fueled encounters Combs referred to as “freak off” and he also sometimes used to record this in 2018. She also said, when she was trying to end their relationship with Diddy, Diddy forced his way to her home and forcefully raped her.
Dawn Richard said in her lawsuit that she attended “drug-fueled parties” where the guests were required to surrender their phones. She also said in her lawsuit that she witnessed inebriated underage girls were sexually violated by Combs and his guests.
Since last November, Sean Combs aka “diddy” has been hit with 10 Lawsuits where 9 of the lawsuits were about sexual assault by Sean Combs.
On tuesday Court will be held for lawsuits which will disclose his recent arrest information.
