Rahul Gandhi: The BJP counter attacked the Congress on Thursday responding to Congress’ aggressive stand in Parliament and outside supporting US prosecutors who have filed an alleged bribery case against Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is actually George Soros, accused BJP parliamentary party member Sambit Patra of asserting during a television interview Saturday, adding that the MP and the Hungarian-born US billionaire were working in cahoots to destabilize India.
Patra spoke this after French newspaper Mediapart on December 2 released a report titled ‘The hidden link between a giant of investigative journalism and the US government’ which accused Soros of funding OCCRP, an international investigative journalism agency whose full name is Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project.

Citing Mediapart, the BJP leader said that ‘OCCRP had significant funding from Soros’s Open Society Foundation and it was as if ‘OCCRP was working for Soros and America’s deep state’.

They are both interested in offending the interests of this country,” Patra further said in a press conference.
He alleged that there was a “dangerous triangular nexus” that was working to destabilise India, and named George Soros, OCCRP and Rahul Gandhi.
A triangular relation has been observed; George Soros and his foundation on one side and certain American agencies on the other side. Another vertex of the triangle in question is a highly-rated news portal, OCCRP. On the other hand stand Rahul Gandhi, the high-traitor of the Indian nation, in this triangle. he said.
Congress has been attacked by the BJP linking it to Soros in the past after the US billionaire became a critic of PM Narendra Modi.
Patra alleged that some forces wanted to break India and did not desire to see the country to grow. He said he was not afraid of referring to Rahul Gandhi as a ‘traitor’.
It is safe for me to dare say this word. I have no qualms in calling the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, a traitor,” said the BJP leader.
OCCRP is an Antigua based media agency, millions of people read what they produce. This agency is also greatly funded by Open Society Foundation. It is George Soros foundation. Such agencies are in place to serve the interest of the people who put their money in such agencies. Rahul Gandhi is betraying the whole country… “They write the script for OCCRP and Rahul Gandhi performs,” he accused.
He also claimed that those and group which has an Indian patriotism “loved” him.
As seen repeatedly, be it on facts or opinion, Rahul Gandhi ends up on the wrong side of human rights issues that threaten national interest. Furthermore, he gains attention from people and organizations which have hatred towards India. If the count had been done of all those who hate India and anti-Indians, Rahul Gandhi would be at the top, the BJP leader added.

This also raises issues of the Organisation’s independence, being that OCCRP receives 70 percent of its funding from a single donor. As such, OCCRP seems to serve the purpose in the way George Soros and the deep state want it to in America,” he said.
Adani and his nephew was charged by a New York court last month for offering Rs 2,029 crore of bribes to Indian state government officials to secure contracts for solar power for 2020-2024. The Adani Group and former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi have argued that the industrialist was not mentioned as exclusive in the bribery charge or an obstacle of justice indictment.
