A 20-year-old model associated with OnlyFans was discovered severely injured and abandoned on the roadside in Dubai after being missing for 10 days. Maria Kovalchuk, a native of Ukraine, was said to be missing after being invited to a hotel party in the Eastern Emirates on March 9.
Concerns grew among her loved ones when, two days later, she failed to board her scheduled flight from Dubai to Thailand. She was then found on March 19 near a Dubai road with multiple injuries, including a broken spine and limbs.
Ms. Kovalchuk was then rushed to the hospital, where she underwent a number of surgeries, People reported. Dubai police subsequently confirmed the model’s finding. “The missing Ukrainian citizen is currently hospitalized… being treated medically and her family is present,” police said.
Officials went further to explain how the 20-year-old got sustained injuries by saying that the model entered a restricted construction site alone and fell from a height. The police were also saying that they reached that conclusion after a comprehensive investigation.
“Dubai Police continue to work closely with the family and relevant authorities to provide all necessary assistance. The public and media are urged to refrain from sharing unverified information and to respect the privacy of the individual and her family during this challenging time,” said police in a statement cited by the Mirror.
Ms. Kovalchuk’s mother explained that her daughter is expected to pull through. “She is getting medical treatment and everything will be all right”.
The OnlyFans model’s family has allegedly also denied the police account stating they believe she did not fall at the purported construction site. The 20-year-old allegedly told her mother prior to her disappearance that she was in the company of two men who later, according to some media reports, “introduced themselves as representatives of modeling business” and that she was canceling her trip to Thailand. The OnlyFans model’s family hadn’t heard from her since the hotel event.
“There is an assumption that she went to a party. But the promoter who organized these parties did not see her,” Ms. Kovalchuk’s mother reported to the outlet. She further went on, “Our girl has no documents, no phone, nothing. She can’t talk after the operations”.
According to The Daily Mail, the 20-year-old was missing since the day she told some friends that she was going to a party at a hotel on March 9. Two days later when she missed her flight from Dubai to Thailand, her loved ones started worrying, according to The Mirror US, The Daily Mail and The US Sun.
Maria, who is originally from Lviv, Ukraine, according to The Sun, was found on March 19, The Daily Mail reported. According to the outlet’s report, she was discovered by a roadside in Dubai with several injuries, including a broken spine and many broken limbs.

Dubai Police confirmed that the model had already been located and told the outlet that “the Ukrainian national previously reported missing is now being taken care of in a hospital” and “receiving medical treatment in the presence of her family.”
Maria’s mother, Anna Kovalchuk, told The Daily Mail that her daughter is expected to recover. Anna flew from Norway to the United Arab Emirates city and stated that the model “is receiving medical treatment and everything will be fine,” said the outlet.
Dubai Police added that Maria’s “serious” injuries were because she had entered a “restricted construction site” alone and then fell “from a height.” Further, police said, they reached this conclusion based on a “comprehensive investigation.”
However, Maria’s family has reportedly denied the police’s version, telling the Russian press that they believe she did not fall at a construction site, The Daily Mail reported. Meanwhile, Anna told the outlet that she “cannot comment because of the investigation.”
