The video of a man from Noida with a strange way of handling pollution problem has gone viral on the internet. He explained in a video that what he does is he takes burnt cigarette butts and turns them into luxury teddy bears. Some of the respondents acknowledged his intentions were okay while others complained of the toys’ effects.
Tobacco smoking is still commonplace despite the known effects such as cancer. Despite, or perhaps because of, these health issues, a new problem has cropped up – the environmental problem associated with cigarette butts, which are commonly chucked away littered all over different places. Each year 4.5 trillion cigarette butts are dropped as a litter in different parts of the world.

Well, to combat this, increasing problem a man named Naman Gupta from Noida has innovated a solution that has gone viral. In a viral video, Gupta reveals his unique approach to recycling these discarded butts into something unexpected: teddy bears.
‘Please do not throw cigarette butts on the road’ the seven seconds clip starts with the image of a litters around the world before showing how Gupta picks used cigarette butts, shedding the fibres then going through a biodegradable cycle that takes twenty-four hours.
The result? These fibres are utilised to convert into the stuffing used in stuffed dolls, a practice that is child-safe and accredited by Gupta. “If we can make a product that is associated with our youth then they become aware that the cigarette butts are polluting our beautiful world. However if we act as one humanity or combined entity then we can recycle this cigarette waste and solve this problem said Gupta in the video.
