About the India’s Got Latent controversy

Among the guests appearing as panelists in Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent show were Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva and Ashish Chanchlani. Social media users reacted angrily when Ranveer voiced his remarks about parents and sex. During the show Apoorva received criticism for delivering an unacceptable statement.

Following this, multiple FIRs were filed against Apoorva, Ranveer, Samay, and the show’s makers. Amid the controversy, Apoorva took time off from social media and did not promote Nadaaniyan, in which she played the role of Khushi’s friend.

Hania Aamir voices her support for Apoorva Mukhija amid acid attack and rape threats: ‘A separate place in hell’

Social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija returned to Instagram by posting hundreds of comments and mentions in which she faced threats of rape and death. The incident occurred following a complaint which targeted comedian Samay Raina along with Apoorva and Ranveer Allahbadia due to their controversial remarks about India’s Got Latent in February.

The post from Apoorva triggered a verbal response from Pakistani actor Hania Aamir who shared it on Instagram Stories.

Hania posted a Fashion commentator Sufi Motiwala Instagram update showing how Apoorva faced hundreds of acid attack and rape threats throughout the previous weeks. Sufi expressed his support for Apoorva through the post which declared that pathetic comments targeting women require the involvement of additional voices to address the issue.

Hania uploaded the post on her Instagram Stories where she stated that these offenders should have their own dedicated section in hell.
