It is alleged that Jyoti Malhotra met Danish, a major figure at the Pakistan High Commission, when she applied for her 2023 visa to Pakistan.
Ever since Jyoti Malhotra was taken into custody for allegedly spying for Pakistan, there have been early disclosures that she was being turned into a ‘Pakistani asset’.

The YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who runs Travel with JO, has been to Pakistan several times and shares videos from there. It was found by the police that she was being prepared for future activities involving manipulating events or opinions.

Her YouTube channel also shows clips from the parties Jyoti Malhotra attended at the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi. According to the cops, she was part of the Pakistani information network. However, the most important question is how she came to lend her support to the neighboring country.

The diplomat who was ousted from Pakistan

Only one person has stood out in Jyoti Malhotra’s videos at the Pakistani High Commission: Danish. While speaking to the media, Hissar SP Shashank Kumar Sawan mentioned that she is suspected to have interacted with a Pakistani officer stationed in the Pakistan High Commission during the clashes between India and Pakistan which started after Operation Sindoor on April 22 and resulted in civilian deaths due to the Pahalgam terror attack.

Since then, this person has been recognized as persona non grata by India and has been expelled. His name was Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish.

Jyoti Malhotra was allegedly brought in contact with Danish, the key figure at the High Commission in Pakistan until his persona non grata status came into effect. According to statements made by the girl, Danish befriended her during the first meeting, after which they talked on the phone.

According to an FIR registered on May 16, Ali Ahwan arranged for Danish’s associate to live in Pakistan about two years ago.

In Pakistan, Ali Ahwan organized a meeting where I met Pakistani security and intelligence officials, Shakir and Rana Shahbaz. I saved Shakir’s number in my phone under the name ‘Jat Randhawa’ to prevent anyone from noticing. I returned to India and continued to talk to all of these people on applications such as WhatsApp, Snapchat and Telegram and started sending them details.”

Danish was expelled from India by government officials for spying, three days after a ceasefire deal was reached with Pakistan. A few days removed from that day, the Police caught Jyoti Malhotra.

The cops are currently looking into her money trail and into her said visits to Pakistan and China, during which she supposedly was treated very well by officials.

Jyoti Malhotra, a famous travel YouTuber from Hisar, was arrested for engaging in spying activities for Pakistan. Because of her YouTube channel with over 377,000 followers, Malhotra is now the focus of an investigation into a suspected network of spies in northern India connected to Pakistan.

    They were detained for spying

Police from Hisar arrested Jyoti Malhotra shortly after he was found to be spying and giving sensitive information about India to Pakistani secret agents. Official Secrets Act Sections 3, 4 and 5, as well as BNS Section 152, were used to arrest her. Following her confession and arrest, the police kept her in remand for five days and the Economic Offences Wing is now investigating the matter.
