According to the reports released by LinkedIn, 70 percent of the skills currently needed in different industries, will be strongly affected by 2030 and artificial intelligence (AI) will be leading the wave.
What is also noteworthy in the report is the incredible 140 percent rise in the profile of LinkedIn users adding new skills to their profiles since 2022, underscoring the increased need to upskill.

In recruiting working professionals 69 percent of Indian recruiters indicate a mismatch and gap between skills held by the professionals and that required by the employers.
India, which is now surpassing to become the fourth-biggest economy of the world, has a considerably educated workforce; yet the employment to population rate stands at 52.8 percent and the labour dependents ratio at 1.52.
