Spirit: There was no statement made, just widespread criticism of an actress for breaking the NDA and criticizing a younger actor at an event.

Fans were surprised to discover that Padukone was involved with Vanga after violent and insulting portrayals of women in his films, Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh and Animal.

Spirit is billed as a cop action drama, led by Telugu cinema star Prabhas. The film would have reunited Padukone with Prabhas, her Kalki 2898 AD co-star.

Multiple online sources are discussing the continued issue of Deepika Padukone and Sandeep Reddy Vanga after her exit from Spirit. On Saturday, the media team and Triptii Dimri announced on social media that the Animal actress will be the female lead in Spirit, together with Prabhas.
It has now been revealed by India Today that Triptii Dimri is set to earn Rs 6 crore for returning to work with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Triptii Dimri is thrilled as this is the largest amount she has been paid.
Pre-production is underway for Spirit now and shooting is set to begin in October.
Some sources say that Deepika wanted to be paid Rs 20 crore, along with a share of the profits, as the reason she decided to leave the project.
Why Did Things Take So Much Time
It was said that Deepika Padukone behaved unprofessionally and demanded too much money for Spirit. Certain allegations said that Deepika wanted to skip ‘bold scenes’ in the film, leading the producers to replace her.
Bollywood Hungama reported on May 22 that Padukone asked not to shoot for more than 6 hours a day on Spirit.
On top of that, the actress was asking her agency to request new terms for the contract. It comes down to this – if the film takes more than 100 days to shoot, Deepika will be compensated for any extra days,” the report explained.
Rumor had it that Deepika did not want to say her lines in Telugu either. Apart from Deepika’s pregnancy, the injury to Prabhas inflicted extra delays on Spirit.
