Since the Ram Mandir consecration of 2024 Actor Amitabh Bachchan has acquired land in Ayodhya for the second time. According to TOI the actor acquired his second piece of land through his trust which is situated approximately 10 km from the temple premises.
Amitabh Bachchan made a land acquisition in Ayodhya for a second time after the consecration of Ram Mandir in 2024.
The Trust established in memory of Amitabh’s father Harivansh Rai Bachchan acquired this land through purchase in 2013.

Through his trust he obtained 54,454 square feet of land making it his second Ayodhya purchase. The actor acquired land at Haveli Avadh on January 16 in the previous year. The real estate transfer between the actor and the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust reached an amount of ₹4.54 crore in that financial period.
According to Pratap Singh who holds the position of assistant inspector general of stamp and registration department of Ayodhya the department has verified only the transfer of ownership in the said property. A building plan approval from the local development authority enables one to understand how the two investments will be used.
Rajesh Rishikesh Yadav performed two real estate transactions as the representative of the actor. One source informed the media that land from Haveli Avadh would serve residential functions yet the larger newly purchased property would manage charitable tasks.
Recent work of Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh Bachchan appeared in brief roles as a special guest in the movie Uunchai before making two cameo appearances in 2023 films Ghoomer and Ganapath. Amitabh Bachchan joined forces with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan in 2024 for Kalki 2898 AD which Nag Ashwin directed.

The Telugu film audience praised his portrayal of Ashwatthama during his role in that production. In addition to his role in Vettaiyan by director TJ Gnanavel he appeared alongside Rajinikanth. Sathyadev Bramhadutt Pande is the character Amitabh performed in the detective film alongside Fahadh Faasil.

On the work front, as per latest reports, Amitabh Bachchan who has competed 18 years of being the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), is reportedly taking departure from the quiz-based show. The show is currently in its Season 16 and Big B has been hosting it since 2007 when he was 67. The legendary actor is 82 now.
