Gene Hackman who won two Oscars and his spouse Betsy Arakawa died in their residence situated in Santa Fe New Mexico United States. The combined deaths of the couple with their dog were discovered at their home. At the time of their passing Mr Hackman reached the age of 95 while his wife Betsy Arakawa was 63 years old.

Several law enforcement officials declared the deaths while Orchestra admitted to investigating the case.

According to Mr Mendoza who spoke with BBC he assured the public that they were actively investigating yet no evidence points to foul play being involved.
During his statement Mr Mendoza failed to share information about the reason for death or when it happened.
He stated while conducting a preliminary death investigation we need a search warrant for approval.
Born during 1930 Mr Hackman took part in more than a hundred roles throughout his career. Through his career he received two Academy Awards which honored him for his performance in The French Connection as Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle and Unforgiven through Little Bill Daggett.
