Delhi Election Result: The 2015 and 2020 and 2025 election results show that the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party held these voting percentages.
Who won Election in Delhi ?
After 27 years the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured victory in the state assembly elections and obtained the chance to govern in New Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party managed to triumph in the previous two Assembly elections with overwhelming public support yet their vote share dropped by nearly 10 percentage points.
The 2025 Delhi assembly election showed the BJP won 45.76 percent of votes while AAP gained 43.55 percent along with Congress capturing only 6.36 percent.

Aam Aadmi Party achieved 53.57 percent of the total votes which resulted in 62 assembly victories during the previous election. The party currently holds an outlook of winning 22 seats according to recent projections. The party gave up 40 seats because it dropped its vote share by 10 percentage points.

The voting pattern in 2020 saw BJP gaining 38.51% of the total votes cast. The BJP managed to acquire around 40 seats after obtaining over 7percent points additional votes.
Many AAP candidates lost their seats because of the active involvement of Congress party candidates. The increase of vote share from 4.26 to 6.36 depleted support for the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP won six of the seven seats containing major Muslim populations even though voter divisions among Muslim voters occurred during the Delhi elections.
Four Muslim candidates successfully won seats in the Delhi Assembly although the total number decreased from five last election term. Imran Hussain (AAP) of Ballimaran, Aaley Mohammed Iqbal (AAP) of Matia Mahal, Amanatullah Khan (AAP) of Okhla as well as Chaudhary Zubair Ahmad (AAP) of Seelampur secured their positions.
The AAP won all seven electoral districts in 2020 that contained large Muslim populations including Okhla, Babarpur, Mustafabad, Seelampur, Matia Mahal, Ballimaran and Chandni Chowk. Due to the divided Muslim voting pattern Mustafabad excluded but the other six constituencies allied with AAP in the 2020 election.
