Jigra earns Rs 54 lakh on 2nd Tuesday, dips by 10 per cent
The emotional sibling action-drama Jigra starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina received another anticipated decline of 10 per cent on its second Tuesday – Day 12 – and earned Rs 54 lakh. The movie which was directed by Vasan Bala had grossed Rs 21.95 crore in the first week and Rs 4.60 crore over the second weekend. Jigra has grossed 1,018 risks till date in India and the nett business figure upto 12 days is Rs 27.69 crore.
The prison-break actioner is now in its last stage. The action will have 7-8 more days to attract some people in order to place a good number at the box office. Based upon the low growth rate that Jigra has shown, the film should complete its whole theatrical run somewhere in between Rs 32 crore to Rs 33 crore in India only.
It has done better in overseas theatres where it has collected more than Rs 18 crore till date. Jigra is likely to wrap up its global theatrical business to the tune of around Rs 58 crore.
