Nifty Crash: The Union Budget 2024 offered a mix of policies. While the internship policies seemed welcoming, Nifty crash after Capital Gains Tax announcement was shocking. where one could see the sensex closing almost flat on July 23, 2024.

    Reports About Nifty Crash

As per Mint, “Shares of HDFC Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank ended as the top drags on the Nifty 50 index. On the other hand, shares of ITC, Titan, Infosys and NTPC ended as the top contributors to the index.”

Stocks like Suzlon saw a gain of approximately 4% whereas major stocks like Reliance and Tata fell. Gold rates saw a dip after import taxes on them were slashed from 15% to 9%.

These reductions in the market also came after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced Securities Transaction Tax and F&O on assets. So if you are worried about your assets falling, do not be as markets like this keep crashing and booming from time to time.
