Global Top 100: Most Valuable Brands in 2025

Disruptive brands drive brand long term value
It is the brands that did something novel in their category or reinvented themselves versus other brands in their market that have contributed almost three-quarters (71%) of the incremental $9.3 trillion of value created in the Global Top 100 since 2006. In 2025 this will also encompass stripe and chipotle, making their debut in the Global Top 100 at the number 85 and 86, as well as Aldi, which has been featured in the world top 100 list 15 times over the past 20 years and currently ranks 94 th.
Innovators who are remaining current with consumer needs or reinventing them completely are the brands that are fundamentally transforming the Global Top 100 over two decades- such as Uber, Booking.com and now ChatGPT.
The Global Top 100 has a cumulative brand value of 10.7 trillion, thus making it the highest amount since 2013. This has been stimulated by disruptor brands, which have been technologically enabled and much of the growth in value over the past two decades has been due to them across all territory.
Apple maintains its leading position on the list the fourth year in a row with a brand value of 1,3 trillion dollars, increasing by 28 per cent during the last year. The only one trillion dollar brand in Global Top 100, Apple accounts over 12 per cent of the total value of the ranking.
The ChatGPT debuts at a high ranking of 60 that makes it the highest new entry after NVIDIA in 2021, although it remains to be seen what the competition will bring as companies react to its initial lead.
The brand value of Amazon had risen 50 percent to 866 billion as the firm had capitalized on its convenience and affordability tag to thrive in a difficult economy.
Instagram and Tik Tok have reported great numbers of 101% and 25% growth respectively. They also indicate the ongoing power of social media in the formation of consumer trends and the direct-to-consumer e-commerce revenue of brands and influencers all over the world.
Fastest Declining Brand Value
On the contrary, Starbucks and Tesla lost the highest brand value because these firms failed to meet customer expectations. In the case of Starbucks, the company has been charging more prices and incorporating the use of apps in sales an aspect that has been opposed by its customers.

In addition, the turnover of its leadership has damaged its reputation, as in two years, the company has had four new heads.
Moreover, Tesla decreased the brand value over two years in a row.
The unfavorable reputation scores of Elon Musk and even more so his dropping reputation in Europe were seen to weigh on the value of Tesla. Loyalty was high in the U.S. with 90 percent of Tesla owners saying they were very or somewhat likely to remain with the brand during the next year.
