The narrative of how this Indian immigrant mother did everything possible and even sensed to a whole country on behalf of her child struck me… a mother and her child have a boundless love to one another.. This is what I learned when I had my own. So, this victory, this movie is an emotional and personal one. A mother would go to extremes to ensure her children are well and can even change the world. This was what this movie attempted to portray.”
She concluded the note by also thanking her fans, “It also feels the right time to once again thank all my fans, across the world, who have really stood by me come what may for the last 30 years! Your love and support have been unconditional and that is all I have ever wanted in my life to act as a source of motivation to get to the workplace on time to deliver the best work in the forms of performances that have been entertaining you. You’ve embraced every role, every character, every story I’ve had the good fortune to bring to life. So, without you I would be a nobody today.”
