Top 10 youngest entrepreneurs under 30 in India 2025: The success of startup culture in India has seen new generation of entrepreneurship set up their businesses, which has inspired many youths to move out of the traditional career route to business start ups.
This shift is currently being captured in the latest Avendus WealthHurun India U30 List 2025, wherein young entrepreneurs aged below 30 are transforming industries through new thinking and reckless ambition.
On top of the list are Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha, both only 22, and the co-founders of quick commerce outfit Zepto, which is one of the fastest-growing startups in India.
It leads the series of funding too as Zepto has received USD 1.95 billion in such funding with a search engine company named Perplexity that works with artificial intelligence and has received USD 915 million.

The list, compiled by Avendus Wealth and Hurun India, identifies 79 game-changing entrepreneurs, under 30 (U30) in 2025, with the history of the most promising business people under the age of 30 in India, in the most important sectors, such as in technology, finance, retail, health and consumer goods.
Released on Thursday as a part of the Uth Series 2025, it is the first ever Under-30 line up, which lists first-generation startup founders with company valuation of plus 25 million, as well as second-generation business who run families worth plus 50 million.
The emergence of self-made entrepreneurs in India is one of the highlights in the report. Sixty-six of the 79 persons on the list are self-made with an emerging independent culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, according to ET citing Avendus WealthHurun report.
Mumbai has the most number of young entrepreneurs who are 15 in totality followed by Bengaluru and Delhi. Representing smaller cities like Salem, Phagwara, Hubballi, and Ranchi, are new generation founders who are cropping up in the report also are excluded to show the growth of the startup ecosystem in India outside metro locations.
The list average age of entrepreneurs is 28. Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha are the co-founders of Zepto and they have not yet turned 22 years old. Devika Gholap, a 28 years old woman who started OptraSCAN is the youngest female entrepreneur and known by her innovative use of digital pathology.
By sector-wise distribution, the software products and services take the first lead with 21 entrepreneurs followed by 12 in consumer goods and 9 in the financial services. Remarkably, the businesses, as cited by ET in an Avendus-Hurun report, are mainly service-led as over 60 per cent of them are.
All together these youthful leaders have attracted an amount of $5.2 billion in equity capital and $270 million debt. They have over 64,000 people employed in their companies, which is a sign of their economy on a big scale.
The biggest employer amongst them is Svatantra Microfin which was set up by Ananyashree Birla, and which employs 23,289 people. Birla too has a long business experiential resume of 13 years in the field of activity.
It has 79 entrepreneurs with USD 5.2 billion together in equity and USD 270 million in debt. Out of this, 66 people are first-generation outbuilders; they have gone out there and established their own businesses, while others are in family business dynasties.

The youngest of the 6 women in the list is 28-year-old Devika Gholap who managed her startup OptraSCAN by working in digital pathology.
