And second in magh ( winter).It is a festival in which we worship Mata Rani for nine days and perform rituals

In Hindu religion, Navratri is a nine-day festival. During these 9 days, Mata Rani is worshiped with full enthusiasm by everyone. Every day different forms of goddess Durga are worshiped. Navratri of the magh falls in September last or October beginning.

Day-1
This time Navratri 2024 is falling on 3 October 2024. On Thursday, October 3, everyone will welcome Mata Rani to their homes. On this Ghatasthapana is also done. On this day we worship Shailputri Mata. Wear yellow colored clothes on this day.
Day-2
The second day of Navratri 2024 is falling on Friday, October 4. Brahmacharini Mata is worshiped on this day. You can wear green clothes on this day.
Day-3
The third day of Navratri 2024 is falling on Saturday, October 5. Mother Chandraghanta is worshiped on this day.
You can wear gray colored clothes on this day.
Day-4
The fourth day of Navratri is Sunday, 6 October. On this day you can worship wearing orange colored clothes.
Day-5
The fifth day of Navratri is falling on Monday, 7th October. Mata Kushmanda is worshiped on this day. You can wear white colored clothes on this day.
Day-6
The sixth day of Navratri is on Tuesday, 8 October. Skandamata is worshiped on this day. You can wear red colored clothes on this day.
Day-7
The sixth day of Navratri is on Wednesday 9 October. Mother Katyayani is worshiped on this day. On this day you can wear royal blue color clothes.
Day-8
The eighth day of Navratri is falling on Thursday, 10 October. Mata Kalratri is worshiped on this day. You can wear pink colored clothes on this day.
Day-9
The ninth day of Navratri is falling on Friday, 11 October. Mahagauri ji is worshiped on this day. You can wear purple colored clothes on this day.
Day-10
The day that falls after Navratri is known to us as Dashmi. This is the day we celebrate the festival of Vijaydashmi. Along with it, we also celebrate it in our homes. We also know Vijayadashami as Dussehra. Vijayadashami is celebrated with great pomp everywhere. Fairs are held everywhere and people eat many types of dishes.
Navratri : significance and rituals
On nine different days of Navratri we worship nine different forms of Mata Rani. This festival is also considered a symbol of the victory of good over evil.
Mother Durga does good to all her devotees and also protects them from every evil.
People fast on ninedays of Navratri and perform puja. Some people fast on the first and last day of Navratri. From the first day of Navratri for nine days, people become completely engrossed in the devotion of Mata Rani.
These days, people recite Durga Shloka, Durga Chalisa, Durga path ,Durga Aarti as well as various types of songs in their homes. At the same time they also offer offerings to Mata Rani.
Different forms of Mata Rani are worshiped on every different day.
The day after Navratri which we call Dashami, on this day the festival of Vijayadashami is celebrated which we also call Dussehra.
During the entire day of Navratri, Mata Rani completely protects her devotees and also protects them from evil eyes.
On the day of Dussehra, people celebrate Dussehra with pomp and show. On this day, people organize fairs and go to see the idols of Mata Rani.
This entire festival is dedicated to Goddess Durga. During the 9 days of Navratri, every world is alive, the sound of Aarti is heard in everyone’s house in the morning and evening, an atmosphere of happiness prevails everywhere.
