3 operations Israel Launched In 24 Hours Of Ground Incursion into Lebanon. The Israeli government said that Hezbollah rocket attack in this northern region of the country has displaced 60,000 Israelis.

It wants to do an October 7-style attack on Israel for the capture of the northern Galilee region, the Israeli Defence Forces has stated as it entered the Hezbollah disputed territory on Monday. There have been some accusations in the ground invasion by Israel and although this has been refuted by Hezbollah, Lebanese government says it is “one of the most dangerous stages”.

Palestinian Hamas group’s attacks on October 7 escalated the Middle East crisis that has now reached Lebanon under the group, Hezbollah. The Israeli military, which is battling Hezbollah in the north and Hamas in the south says the Lebanese group had been using border villages as starting point for a new attack plan dubbed the ‘Conquer the Galilee’ campaign.

    ‘Conquer The Galilee’

Galilee is an area in the northern side of Israel by the Sea of Galilee where it is famous that Jesus Christ once made the water walk. It is a relatively highland and rich area that spreads from the coastal plains to the Mediterranean coast. Israel accuses Hezbollah of firing rockets in this north, Israeli region that has displaced about 60 thousand Israelis who Israel now wants to rebuild.

The organization openly stated that it plans to stage another October 7 type event on an even bigger scale on the northern border of Israel, said the IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari. For this, the enemy has been building tunnels under the homes in the bordering villages and accumulating arms, he said while categorizing Israeli operations into Lebanon.

The operations involved the use of Israeli force to capture Hezbollah compounds in at least dozens of areas to dismantle their operations. The raids unveiled the hidden Hezbollah weapons supply and more than 700 Hezbollah terror operatives were arrested according to the spokesperson.

Here are 3 operations have been conducted by Israeli operations.

    Meiss El Jabal

The Lebanese village of Meiss El Jabal is situated only several hundred meters from Kiryat Shmona – an Israeli city. Due to Hezbollah attacks, Israel said that over 20,000 citizens had to evacuate this city, the residents of this city escaped due to the “terrorist activities” of Lebanon.

Hezbollah operatives prepared an infrastructural design of tunnels to hide weapons in a house in the village, according to Rear Admiral Hagari said Israeli troops. He added that they had intended to use this as their staging ground before launching an attack on Israeli owned territory.

Secret exit As in many houses of that time, in the basement, an elevated platform was constructed to camouflage the shaft leading to a tunnel. According to the Israeli spokesman the tunnel measured 150 meters in length and was dug into the rocky soil and they blew it up with ground and aerial bombardments.

    Kfarkela

Like Meiss El Jabal, Kfarkela is another border village just a couple of hundred meters away from the Israelian Metula. Israeli forces in Kfarkela duly shot this house to search for the tunnel that was found hidden under a bed in a child’s room.

It comes to light that soldiers entered the tunnel shaft and found a 100-meter-long tunnel established in stones. The troops searched the tunnel and saw that weapons were kept in barrels. They also found a weapons storage facility in one of the rooms that was designed to be used by Hezbollah on the day of the planned invasion, said Rear Admiral Hagari.

    Nurit

Nurit is at the frontline between the Israeli side and the Lebanese village of Ayt Al Shaab. Israelis intended what they coined as Hezbollah targets in this village such as military compounds and rocket launch positions. Of the down for purposes of this circumstance, the IDF found the Hezbollah combat compound that has combat trenches on the ground and underground.” This system of tunnels links to an underground tunnel that also consist of a weapon storage compartment, a command and control section, and accommodation and planning areas for Hezbollah militants,” said Hagari.

The spokesperson said that the Israeli soldiers attacked combat dugs at the peak of a mountain and discovered a hole leading to underground tunnel tracks towards the Lebanese village of Ayt Al Shaab. In the tunnel the sounds found a large number of weapons the IDF said.

Hagari said they also seized a map captured from a Hezbollah building intending to distribute it to its military agents before what it calle ‘Conquer the Galilee’ incursion. On its Israeli relations were depicted as well as surroundings of IDF posts, access roads, as well as objectives for a strike.
